Jobs? Haha there is barely any work up here left with all the layoffs and hiring freezes around. What work there is is barely enough to pay the bills. I'm glad my wife works, I feel terrible for the guys with 3 or 4 kids and a stay at home wife

fora...there really was no view of Balkany within the company. Other than the executives, I'm not sure anyone ever met him. For all he bought, I'm not sure how much of a role he played or how much influence he really had. There were definitely others on the board that had more pull, or guidance, than he did.
With regards to STEP, there is no opportunity for Gasfrac employees to continue on with STEP at this time. I can't read the future, but know that STEP has absolutely no interest in fracking with LPG. The plan is to take all equipment they can use for water fracing to Canada and work and the rest of the LPG stuff they will either let sit or sell off. The LPG technology, if continued, will be carried on by another company not associated with Gasfrac.
Again, in this deal, the LPG technology is dead.

STEP website clearly states that they purchased Gasfrac "intellectual property." Owning Intellectual Property is one thing and commercializing/profiting from it another. It is possible STEP will sit on it and sell it down the road for profit to a buyer who comes along................whole Gasfrac story is a shame!!

Dipstick, what is your point? Not sure there is much value in the IP. If there was, someone would have bought it that had plans to use it. At this point, someone bought it and decided to walk away from it with work on the books through the summer. To them, the equipment was worth more than the IP. I apologize for missing your point as it may just be you are making a statement that someone down the line may buy the IP. However, I highly doubt it will be for much money.
