I had heard from Go Marcellus Shale blog that their trucks were at the Parker Well site. The question is, who bought all the IP and equipment? Was it Chesapeake or is it someone else, a services company? To know that before they announce in April may be an investment opportunity. That is if you still believe in the process. If anyone hears, I think we all deserve the break of knowing. I for one would be glad to find out and let everyone know, just to thumb my nose at the whole process that does not seem to include us. We shareholders are so important that they cannot give us any information until it is all finalized and others in the know have profited from that information. A little bitter I am!

Riddle me this Batman - why or how would Chesapeake "partner" with Gasfrac that is in CCAA in Canada and Chapter 13 in the USA... google Bizjournels.com for the blog Doesn't make sense if the company is done... Everything is tight-hole up here as far as who bought it or for how much - rumor last week is a small coil company called Step Energy but I just don't see it. I don't think I've ever seen a secret kept this well in the oilpatch...
Interesting on Page 6 of the March 16 Application for Stay Extension, Claims Process and Sale Approval from the E & Y site. Calfrac Well Services lawyers are listed twice but no where do they show up on the creditor's lists. Rumor I heard, they were one of the bidders - don't know for sure or if this means anything or why their lawyers would be on that list...

I'm not sure if my computer is going "wonky" but when I open these documents from the E&Y site: "Investor Update March 6, 2015" and the "Sworn Affidavit by Lori Hill March 9" and "Stay Extension, Claims Process & Sale Approval dated March 16, 2015" - it seems to keep opening the same document dated January 21, 2015.
Is this just me or does anyone else have this issue???
Please ignore - it was a computer issue

My humble thought on another possibility is that whomever bought the heart and soul of Gasfrac and not the "Company" may have done so to get out of the contracts they had in Texas and Canada. A company that had their own commitments but wanted the technology to enhance its abilities in the Utica or elsewhere. Your thoughts?

The contracts don't seem overly one-sided...

Dipstick, that is the Parker well right near the Nettle 3H well that Enervest did with Gasfrac. That was in the works for awhile I believe. I believe that they are refracking that well. That article is so short, it gives nothing new. At the Go Marcellus Shale site blog it was noted that the Gasfrac trucks were there. My guess is there is nothing to make of it except did Chesapeake buy Gasfrac's heart and soul or was is someone else. Maybe Aubrey McClendon's new company??? Maybe a services company. Time will tell. Again, I ask if anyone knows, put it here so we can all recoup something when it goes public in April what was done. I am thinking someone out there knows! Your thoughts??

If the stock is not trading, I don't think there is any recoup possible...

Viprgtsr, by recoup, I meant investing in whoever now owns the Gasfrac IP and equipment and I am sure the employees who have worked with Gasfrac.
